Waking up this morning I was totally set to get my 360 dashboard updated so I would finally be able to do all that “Minority Report” control type of action with my Netflix.  Well, it may seem that there is a little hiccup in that update happening at this point in time.

Microsoft had stated earlier that not all of the services would be ready for the update launch such as the UFC application, TMZ, and SyFy. The majority of the services will be continually rolling out through early 2012 so there is that to look forward to. But this morning Major Nelson tweeted: “The timing for the Xbox 360 dashboard update has been slightly delayed.” Concerned citizens will receive a status update “later today.”

That does NOT specifically mean that the update will come later today. It points to them saying that they will let us know when it will be released “later today.” I hope that it is soon.
