3.5 Million Viewers Watched MLG’s 2011 Season

3.5 million people tuned in to watch Major League Gaming’s 2011 Pro Circuit Season. That’s right, 3.5 million people had nothing better to do than watch other people play games over the internet. Regardless of how exciting/pathetic that news may be to you, it is MLG’s biggest season thus far.

The peak of the viewing came at the Pro Circuit National Championships in Providence, Rhode Island. The events, which included $600,000 in winnings for games like Call of Duty: Black Ops, Starcraft II, and Halo Reach.
