Evidently such will be the subtitle for the next opus in the RTS series, but it’s strange to see that many different IPs are being tacked to it. Will Alliances be part of the Red Alert (*bang bang*) or the Tiberium (*pew pew*) family? And is EA undecided, or simply looking to blur the trail?
The rumors swirling around BioWare’s next project (teaser image above) may answer that. Collaboration is afoot between the Canadian giant and the current stewards of Command & Conquer, the LA-based Victory Games. But problematically, the image depicts a personal misfortune rather than a broad one (can you tell? I went to college!). Whether the game as a whole will reflect that is up in the air.
Either way, all bets will be settled come Spike TV’s VGA awards on December 10th, where BioWare is set to divulge more. In the meantime, check the trailer and its few seconds of footage for the (possibly C&C-related) game.
