3DS Ambassador Program Gears Up For Round Two

by on December 1, 2011

When the 3ds first came out this year, it may or may not have performed as well as the company would have liked. Well, six months after its launch they decided to lower the price to 169.99 and that greatly gave people the chance to see how great the world would look in 3D. Needless to say, those that had paid the initial price of $250 were not too happy.

So Nintendo was proactive in making sure that those early adopters are still taken care of. The established something called the Ambassador program that lets those folks get 20 (yes 20) virtual console games from the Nintendo eShop. The first ten that were released were all original NES titles and with this second wave, owners will get ten more games selected from the GBA library. Five games posted below are confirmed for this year and the remainder will be available by the end of this year.

So half of the games that will be available are as follows:

Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Metroid Fusion
WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong

A representative from Nintendo also stated that the rest of the titles available will be made known “in due course”. I can’t wait to see what the remaining five are. Thoughts?
