FiOS TV Coming to the Xbox 360 in December

Xbox 360 owners already knew that Verizon’s FiOS TV was coming soon to the console, but the company today revealed that the service is on its way next month.

According to Verizon, FiOS customers who subscribe to both FiOS TV and FiOS Internet, who of course happen to be Xbox Live Gold members, will be able to use the console to watch select FiOS TV channels.  Those who have Kinect, will also be able to use voice and gesture commands to control their viewing experience.

“The FiOS TV app will become available for download next month.  We’ll be launching the service with 26 channels and we plan to add more,” said Verizon in a statement.

Verizon is currently offering their FiOS TV and internet service at $89.99 per month and includes a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership and a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
