Ayup. Dead Island…banned…from Germany. Ummmm OK? Yeah readers, this seems more like a “so?” moment rather than news but the news gods must be satisfied and this will give them some satisfaction I hope.

No one seems to be surprised by this ban since Germany has stringent rules on video games. Even Techland and Deep Silver knew something like this might happen.

This isn’t unexpected. Germany has its unique regulations regarding video games and violence and the industry can only comply. Both Deep Silver and Techland were aware of such a possibility from the very beginning. -Representative
