Activision promises that COD Elite will be stable this Thanksgiving

If you have not logged onto Call of Duty Elite in a while, you should be able to actually use the service today.

Activision has sent out a press release stating that they are now where they should have been when the software originally launched on November 8th. When the service first launched, they had over a million paid subscribers in the first week, now that number has blossomed to over four million users both paid and free accounts. Unfortunately Activision was not prepared for the demand that would ensue for this service.

They have been slowly adding the features to the service to make it the way that it has been intended. This Friday, they will incorporate the video part of the service for Friday night Fights which will feature a match between Army vs. Navy.

This service has been pleasantly surprising, as long as they continually improve the functionality of the site, we should continue to see greater numbers of players using it to better themselves on this massive series.

Next week they will release the long awaited cell phone application as well so we will be able to work on our game on the train.
