Final Fantasy V Hits the PSN (in North America)
Another one from the vault: Final Fantasy V is now available for North American PSN users! Originally released for the SNES (1992) before being ported to the PlayStation and Game Boy Advance, this iteration admittedly didn’t capture the hearts of millions as Final Fantasy VII would. Don’t worry, it’s still got Chocobos and composition by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu.
And at $9.99, it should make for a worthwhile revisit for old fans of Square, or those looking for an RPG experience more approachable than what’s on the market these days. Here’s a game you can pick up and play. Skyrim? Dark Souls? Skyward Sword? A little more to it.
