With the recent drop of the Grand Theft Auto V trailer, it was easy to presume we’d be jumping into the world of Los Santos, San Andreas next year. Well, not so fast. Thanks to some reading between the lines of a Take Two financial report for the next fiscal year, there’s a chance the game could slip to 2013.

The report from Take Two lists major releases planned for 2012. Included in the list are the tiles Bioshock Infinite, Spec Ops: The Line, and Borderlands 2. No mention of GTA anywhere, which would push the release to at least March of 2013.

We’re hoping that Take Two and Rockstar just don’t want to show their hand quite yet so they’re keeping quiet about the release date. On the bright side, if there’s no GTA next year at least they’re giving a hell of a lineup to tide us over.
