Too Human Staff Laid off According to Rumors

Rumors are flying on the internet that nearly the entire staff behind Too Human have received their pink slip after a massive layoff at developer Silcon Knights. The team behind Too Human aren’t the only ones to go, as 75 percent of the team has been sent packing, leaving only 25 employees on staff.

The last game the company worked on was X-Men: Destiny, and have many notable titles on their belt. Controversy came with the game when it was released in September and many of the staff was removed from the credits and listed in a “Special Thanks” section. The names were later added back.

The layoffs come after receiving three grants for nearly $8 million over the past 3 years in attempts to grow and make the studio more sustainable. Not much else is known at the moment, but there’s a lot of activity on LinkedIn involved SK employees and updating their resumes. Stay tuned as more comes in, but the studio might be preparing for the worst at the moment.
