Free Battlefield DLC Through Dr. Pepper

While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 might have Mountain Dew drinkers on a permanent IV drip of the beverage so they can earn more XP, EA has signed on with Dr. Pepper to promote Battlefield 3. Both of the promotions also promote childhood diabetes.

The Dr. Pepper promotion will include a DLC code on specially marked bottles of the soda. Take the code to the Dr. Pepper website and you’ll earn yourself a DLC pack for multiplayer skins, Playstation Home Avatar, and various dog tags to show off. Not that you would want to show them off, since they consist of Rebecca Black and Hello Kitty references. If you want to by-pass the drinking terrible soda portion of the promotion, just go to the Dr. Pepper website and you can get the DLC for your platform of choice. Just do it before December 31, when the promotion ends.

Oh, boy! I love childhood diabetes!

..Wait. Did you just say that Dr. Pepper is terrible?!
Dr. Pepper is my lifeblood during exams week (which, incidentally, is this week). Besides, who better to treat my inevitable upcoming diabetes than the Dr. who will give it to me?

I’ve never much cared for Dr. Pepper, but at least he got his degree. Beats Mr. Pibb.
