According to Siliconera, Nintendo is coming out with a 3D Classics version of the original NES game Kid Icarus later this year in Japan.

Club Nintendo is holding a special campaign in which gamers who buy two 3DS games this fall, will be registered for a drawing to win a special 3DS themed after Peach, Toad or Mario, as well as a free copy of the 3D Classics version of Kid Icarus.  The game will also be available as a paid download later on.

No word on whether this offer will make its way to the U.S., but you can be sure that Kid Icarus will soon find its way to the eShop.
