The 3D TV for the Playstation 3 that was announced at E3 finally has a release date. According to the Playstation Blog this piece of hardware will come out on November 13th. For only 500 dollars you get the T.V., one pair of 3D glasses, the MotorStorm Apocalypse Blu-ray game, and an HDMI cable. Just plug n’ play! There are also a lot of technical specs that you guys can check out at the Playstation Blog.

There is also a feature called SimulView. From my understanding two people playing on the same 3D TV will get their own 2D screens, but it isn’t split screen. It seems like both the 1st player and 2nd player screens are on top of each other, but the 3D glasses separate them somehow. That magic will cost you a whopping 70 dollars, the retail price of one of those 3D glasses. Yikes! Magic isn’t cheap these days. When I was a kid all you had to do was buy a Disney movie and you were set!
