PSOne Games Coming to Android Tablet

Sony is making ten classic Playstation One games available on Android tablets today. Specifically, just Sony based tablets, because Sony is extremely incestuous with their own products. The first release will be on the Sony Tablet S, and will spread from there like some sort of enjoyment-based virus.

The games will be available for $5.99 each. While the downloads will be made available in nine countries including the US and Canada, the UK is oddly absent. So what games are Europeans missing out on? Check out the list:

  • Cool Boarders
  • Destruction Derby
  • Hot Shots Golf 2
  • Jet Moto
  • Jet Moto 2
  • Jumping Flash!
  • MediEvil
  • Motor Toon Grand Prix
  • Rally Cross
  • Wild Arms

I remember playing all of them on those demo discs they used to come out with. Wild Arms was one of my favorite RPGs on PSX. I love the intro theme to it.

What they need to do is get some more ps1 games on the Xperia Play.
