If you’re thinking about heading into the shadows with The Darkness 2, think about setting yourself up with the pre-order so you can snag a couple goodies. The folks over at 2K sure know how to treat their gamers right.

For as long as supplies last, every pre-order from now until launch day will be upgraded to the Limited Edition version for free. Included in said version is a free digital download of volume 1 and 2 of The Darkness Origins comic, a custom illustration from The Darkness comic creator Marc Silvestri, an alternate darkling outfit entitled “Crazy Abdul,” and two character ability upgrades: Gourmet Hearts, which provides a bonus for eating hearts, and Relic Hunter, which locates collectible items in the world.

The Darkness 2 doesn’t hit store shelves until February 7, 2012, but get your pre-order in so you snatch up one of the Limited Edition copies. They are limited, after all.
