The on-and-off rumors of online play for Mass Effect 3 have been rampant in recent months but the latest rumor comes from the ME3 forums on  CVG.

In the forum, an ad for the game from a South African retailer (BT Games) discusses the game’s Collector’s Edition, which includes a note bout the inclusion of an “online multiplayer pass.”

Could this mean there will in fact be an online multiplayer component, or is it perhaps a misunderstanding of something more along the lines of a “Season Pass”, which more and more games have begun to include?
