Sony teases us with mysterious Playstation trailer…
Sony has released today a mysterious teaser trailer for something… unknown. It features soldiers, it features background sounds from various Playstation titles, it features a date. And that’s about it. The question everyone is asking right now is simple – “What’s it for? What will be revealed?” The truth is that nobody really knows. However, based on what I do know… I’ve put together a list of things that might be revealed on October 5, 2011 and have something to do with the actual video itself. Speaking of which, watch it below right now!
Pretty wild, right? Well, here are my guesses:
Cross game chat feature – for Playstation 3 exclusive titles only (supposedly the PS3 doesn’t have enough RAM, but I beg to differ)
Major update for Playstation Home – rebuild from the ground up with revolutionary features
Playstation Network becoming a paid service (like Xbox LIVE)
Playstation Store being re-launched with a new look and new features
New PS3 exclusive title – a war game with photo-realistic characters and environments, life-like facial expressions and character animation and deep story elements; think Brothers in Arms having kids with Heavy Rain, Mass Effect and Battlefield 3)
New PS3 exclusive title – an online mmo with Playstation characters
Playstation 4 (very unlikely, but I had to throw it in for speculations sake)
So… What do you think? Is it anything from that list? Or something completely different? Leave a comment below and let us know what’s on your mind!
