From Software’s game Dark Souls had its official launch date in Japan set for September 22. Some players that got their hands on the game early just couldn’t wait that long, though. Now the game developer has a little surprise for those who decided to hop online in-game before the game was released, and may God have mercy on their characters.

If you played Dark Souls online before September 22, expect to see a fully maxed-out Black Phantom to show up at your doorstep. Here’s a hint as to what is going to happen when it arrives: You’re going to die. Check out the stat sheet for these vigilant enforcers of release dates below.
