Several days ago, a Reddit user posted a picture of a commemorative trophy that his father received from Nintendo. The trophy was in celebration of 20 years with the company. The post has since been removed, but more details have come since then, because that’s what the internet does.
The trophy apparently belongs to Senior Manager of Systems and Engineering Jerry Danson, who joined Nintendo back in 1991. His job is to design, build, and operate the machines that produce the packaging for all their games. The trophy is a nice way to honor dedication to the company, but his retirement package is in another castle.
