Dead Space 3 in Development?

IGN has picked up a little bit of interesting news this morning as an Israeli news show may have stumbled upon an unlikely confirmation of Dead Space 3.

While EA has not made any announcements about the future of the franchise, one can only hope that a third entry is at least in the pipeline.

The image above is a screen capture from a video of the news program.

Perhaps an unintended scoop?  Or maybe it’s just a false alarm.

    I hope so. I never found the series scary, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. The whole first quarter of Dead Space 2 is fantastic; with the opening, the whole early-on plot twist, the sliding down the derailed train and then dangling upside down while frantically finding items to kill the enemies coming at you.. Awesome.
