Rumor has it Capcom will be sharing some information about Resident Evil 6 in the coming days, but according to a report from Electronic Gaming Monthly, we already know that it’s going to be the fright-fest the fans want. Word is if you haven’t s*** your pants recently, this game may help you out.

“This will be, by far, the most gruesome Resident Evil game to date. A real emphasis is being placed on making the game brutally scary,” said the source in the report. The source remained anonymous, presumably by wearing a burlap sack over his head and delivered the message while swinging a chainsaw. That part is all hearsay though.

I, for one, found Resident Evil 4 to be ridiculously scary. It was one of those games where you can watch someone play and still find yourself jumping when something pops out at you. Resident Evil 5 on the other hand was just vaguely racist as opposed to scary. While there is a lot to fear when it comes to prejudices, it’s not a great premise for a horror game.
