Square Enix will be releasing an HD version of Final Fantasy X to the PS3 and PS Vita. This announcement was made at the Tokyo Game Show during Sony’s conference there. Further details are unavailable but GotGame will be sure to follow up when they become available.

But do we need a re-release of Final Fantasy X? The game’s plot made about as much sense as Fooly Cooly (a.k.a Furi Kuri). This game needs to be revamped extensively. Rather than do that, Square Enix should have picked a better game like Final Fantasy IX or Final Fantasy VIII to re-release in HD on the PS3 and PS Vita. What do I know though? I’m just some video game journalist. 😉
