According to David Jaffe, the reason Twisted Metal was recently delayed was to add more polish to the game.
In an interview with Games Radar at this year’s Penny Arcade Expo, Jaffe explains, “With Twisted Metal; we did not want to say, ‘we have more time, let’s put more shit in it.'”
“It wasn’t so much about extending the schedule to add more stuff as it was to polishing and tuning the crap out of it.”
So there you have it. Gamers shouldn’t expect any new features or changes to the game itself, but rather a more refined experience.
