Used Wii Game Found to Have Porn Inside the Case

Well guys, GameStop has done it again. A mom in Cumming, GA (once you read the rest of the story you will laugh at that city’s name) bought a used copy of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics at GameStop for her six year old son. However, the son soon discovered some “explicit”, albeit what seemed poorly drawn, drawings inside the case of the game. So the mom calls GameStop to report said incident but Turner, the mom, says that the GameStop employee that talked to her only said “Thanks for letting us know” and then hung up. This was the same response that Turner received when she called GameStop Corporate. Turner was expecting more of a shocked reaction instead of such an aloof one. The news reporter who was on the case talked to the GameStop employee and Gamestop Corporate. The employee claimed to have apologized to Turner and GameStop corporate emailed the WSBTV reporter asking for Turner’s information so they could look into the incident more thoroughly.

Yeah, it takes a news report to get corporate companies to ACTUALLY do something. Wonderful. Hopefully this incident will put some new policy for this kind of thing in action at GameStop. However, parents should not rely completely on GameStop. If you are buying a used game for your child then you need to make sure that everything inside the case is in order. Even GameStop employees tend to make mistakes, they aren’t superhuman after all.
