Exterminatus. That is the name given to the Co-op mode coming to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine in early October of this year. Exterminatus has two scenarios: “Assault on Hab Center Andreas” and “Escape from Kalkys Facility”. Both scenarios have global leader boards, this challenges players through dynamic challenge completion and utilizing score modifiers which in turn increase the difficulty of the game in exchange for additional points. Also, experienced earned from Exterminatus goes towards multiplayer ranks. This allows players to earn progress through Co-Op and Multiplayer.

Four marine will be pitted against armies of aliens in a score based battle of death.  Players can choose from the Devastator, Tactical, or Assault Marine to play and use any perks that come with the marines.

Space Marine the game is scheduled to be on XBOX 360, Playstation 3, and PC this coming Tuesday, September 6th.
