Electronic Arts announced today that Madden NFL 12 is on store shelves today in North America. For other select countries worldwide you will unfortunately have to wait until September 2nd for your chance to purchase and play the game.

Madden NFL 12 will be on these consoles: XBOX 360, Playstation 3, Playsation 2, Wii, and PSP. There will also be mobile releases for the game on Android devices, iOS, and feature phones. You can also play an updated version on Facebook.

Madden NFL 12 has been innovated for the players in six different areas:

• Playbooks and Game play
• Presentation, Franchise, and Superstar modes
• Dynamic Player Performance
• Madden Ultimate Team
• Online Communities

This new version has a variety of new enhancements which include the ability to build an entire franchise including stadium complex, front office, and practice and training facilities. Players can also coach their way to victory by making key play decisions throughout each game and expanded statistics showcase the top performers of each game, including an MVP.
