Same-Sex Marriage in Skyrim

The Fable series were the first set of games that I played in which your character could marry the gender of your choice. Whether it be woman-male, woman-woman, or male-male. I was elated at the fact that a video game would allow you to do this. It was a step forward into bringing gamers closer to a better experience in games along with other choices you could make in the Fable series. Well, Skryim now has another grand choice added to the already limitless possibilities in the game.

Characters are able to marry anyone they wish in the game according to a tweet from Pete Hines (@DCDeacon). So again, more choices. I myself might just stick with a dark elf, wood elf, or one of the more human-esque races. I just don’t see the appeal of Argonians or Orcs. I would imagine this would also make members of the furry community who play this game more excited to play this already fantastic game.

Even if Bethesda had not put this feature into the game, I would still enjoy what could be the best Elder Scrolls since Morrowind. However, Bethesda has made a wonderful step forward with this addition to the game and I praise them. I may even forgive them for suing Mojang. 😉

You never needed to hold things against Bethesda in the first place, Zenimax sued Mojang. Todd howard and the rest of the dev team had nothing to do with it.
