ARRRRR! Ye best be preparing yerselves fer Bungie Aerospace’s first game launch, yaaarrrrr. It be called Crimson: Steam Pirates and ye best not be forgettin’ it.

That’s right Bungie Aerospace and developers Harebrained Schemes bring you the title Crimson: Steam Pirates. The game will be a free iPad game and will be available for download on September 1, 2011. Attendees of PAX Prime will be able to demo the game at Booth #682.

So what’s this game all about? Well here’s the description ye landlubbers.

Plumes of black smoke fill the blue Caribbean sky as Thomas Blood’s pirate fleet steams ahead–over, above and below the waves. Command your fleet and your Steampunk crew using an elegant action interface. Crimson: Steam Pirate‘s turn-based game play provides an addicting mixture of strategy and action as you anticipate your enemy’s moves and counter them, luring them into a deadly hail of weapons fire while uncovering the mystery brewing in the Caribbean.
