There’s a brand new Transformers based MMO coming to a browser near you (in your face Zynga?). Could this be an awesome new time-sink to distract me while I browse the internet or try to get work done? Only time will tell for sure, but so far the prospects look good. The new MMO is slated for release in 2012, but GamesCom attendees get a special bonus if they hit up the Transformers booth. They get to choose their allegiance to either the AUTOBOT or DECEPTICON factions and customise that choice further. Gamescon visitors will then receive a print out of the unique TRANSFORMERS character they have created. When the game launches next year, players will be able to choose from various classes of robots, adding a further variant to the character creation element.
While the customisation presented at the convention will offer fans a taste of what is to come within the game, Jagex today exclusively revealed details of one of the much anticipated classes; The Brawler Class.
“Players who like to engage as the tank in co-op team play will be drawn to this Brawler Class. The strength and resilience of this class makes it the perfect choice for those who like to get up close in a battle environment, for those who like a good brawl.” Stated Kris Jones, TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE senior producer.
