Namco Bandai Dusting off Antiques Roadshow Game

If you’ve ever felt the game selection for the iPad was lacking, get prepared for the release of it’s must-have, everyone will play, undeniable powerhouse franchise, Antiques Roadshow: Discovering America’s Hidden Treasures.

That’s right, grandma’s and creepy hoarder-type people now have a game of their very own! You’ll play as Julia, a former history teacher and new hire at a local antiques shop, through 30 unique environments to discover hundreds of hidden objects that will reveal the rich, ever thickening plot of store owner Mr. Hinton’s life. Not enough for you? Well Namco Bandai aren’t done because they’re bringing you five mini-games that will have you refurbishing items like a goddamn boss.

Need anymore reason to buy this game? Just talk to Namco Bandai’s vice president of marketing, Carlson Choi, who said this game was “surprisingly exhilarating.” That’s right, the head of marketing for the company that made this game was surprised at how bored he wasn’t. Get out and get in line for the release of this game, because you don’t want to be the last person in the old folks home to get a copy for $4.99. Or just wait until you see this game on the “Antiques Roadshow” in a few months, where it will be appraised for the value of 34 cents.
