New Update on 3DS Ambassador Program

by on August 15, 2011

Nintendo sent out an update regarding their 3DS Ambassador Program, via the eShop and noted that sometime this week, the company will launch a website that will allow customers to enter their Nintendo 3DS serial number to check on their program eligibility.  Once the website has gone live, Nintendo will send out a message with the link.

Then starting September 1, Ambassadors will be able to download 10 NES Virtual Console games for free in the eShop.   Then by the end of 2011, Nintendo will provide Ambassadors with the additional 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console titles.

The Ambassador Program is open to anyone who logged onto the eShop or downloaded a system update before 11:59 p.m. ET on August 11.  Those who did so, were automatically registered.
