BF3 on PC Will Require Origin
According to the official Battlefield 3 blog, gamers who pick up the PC version of Battlefield 3 will be required to use EA’s Origin service.
While EA and DICE will use Battlelog for the purpose of browsing servers and joining games, Origin is necessary to actually play the game.
We still don’t know if Origin will be required for those who download the game digitally but it’s highly likely that Origin will be required anyway.
