Mortal Kombat Legacy Comes to Blu-ray

While the Mortal Kombat Legacy web series may be free to stream on YouTube, there’s always a way to make more money. Warner Bros. sees a fresh chance and will be releasing the web series as a Blu-ray set on November 8.

More than just a repackaging of the webisodes, the set (which will retail for $19.98) is slated to featured a slew of informative videos. Featurettes include MK standbys like Fatalities in the context of the actual story (no word on Animalities), a fake documentary on Netherrealm, and character-unique videos on the various weapons and abilities available.

With a price that reasonable, why not get the series in full (hi) def? Unless the prospect of what amounts to an animated Mortal Kombat Wiki seems like a deal just less than worth it, it seems like a decent way to spend $20.
