Minecraft Comes To Xbox

by on August 6, 2011

Markus Persson, the man known as Notch, has a good reason to take a rest. Between the incredulous lawsuit for using the word “Scroll” and the general chaos of running a company, the man deserves a vacation. But fear not, intrepid miners, for Xbox 360 will host Minecraft very soon. So now you can relive the experience of playing Minecraft for the first time all over again. Of course, in typical fashion, the game will enter the world as a beta and no plans for the full release have been announced.

Remaining cagey on the differences between the PC and the Xbox versions, Notch has hinted at Kinect integration. Just imagine the physical toil of mining and creating your structures translated into actual motions!

The Minecraft beta will be on Xbox Live Arcade, soon.
