After the leak of an early build of Gears of War 3‘s single player campaign, Executive Producer Rod Fergusson gave his thoughts in a recent interview.

The words “frustrating” and “saddening” popped up during the chat, which probably gives a solid gist of how excited Rod was about the leak. He also said he understands why the leak would be tempting, but was disappointed that an early version of the game is getting played while many people have put in hours since that build to create a polished experience.

Despite his frustration, Fergusson did find some relief in knowing the leak came from the Xbox 360 which means a far smaller audience would see it than if it were to leak on the PC, simply because of the modification required to play a leaked or hacked game on the Xbox.
