Put on your driving gloves, limber up those fingers, and grab an energy drink – the latest installment in the Need For Speed series is coming, and will test the endurance of the vehicles within. Need For Speed The Run pits drivers against each other in a race from San Francisco to New York in a 200-man free-for-all where the prize is $25 million. Not too shabby for a $25K down payment to get in.

The typical pitfalls await drivers, from weather conditions both hot and freezing to mobsters, police, and other competitors all vying for a payoff. Included in the special Limited Edition, three unique cars all known for ridiculous horsepower: the Lamborghini Aventador, the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S, and the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1. Mmmm….horsepower.

The Run will drop on November 15^th and include five challenges exclusive to the limited edition, should you feel inclined to purchase it (look at those three bonus cars – you know you want to). Best of all, it’s completely cross-platform, and will feature versions for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS, iPhone, and iPad. That’s a lot of speed.
