PS Vita Gets A New Release Date

Now with more flying shit

Remember how the PS Vita’s date of arrival was leaked in a press release yesterday? Well, now it’s been all but confirmed thanks to the UK division of Blockbuster. According to a chart of upcoming releases, the Vita is coning on October 28th – and will retail for either £229.99 or £279.99, depending on how bad you want 3G capabilities.

While the date has yet to be confirmed in a move typical of Sony, this release date fits with the schedule as originally dictated by Sony. Upon checking the official Blockbuster page for pre-orders in the UK, the Vita is listed as TBA – but with the internal chart having already leaked it would seem that the date isn’t too far off.

Fingers crossed if you want the Vita to arrive in time for the holiday market. Otherwise, prepare for a massive letdown just to be safe.
