The PSP Vita is coming this fall. At least according to a press release earlier today it is, but now the backpedaling has begun. While the clamor for Supremacy MMA is, how do we put this, nonexistent (really, an MMA game – oh yeah, bros love Xbox), the triumvirate of platforms includes Vita. Which would mean the Sony handheld is scheduled to come out before the year’s end. Then the damage control began.
Supremacy MMA publishers 505 Games were quick to claim that the Vita release’s implications remain pure speculation. Instead, the inclusion means a future release for the portable version since Sony is keeping mum on any details on the Vita’s development and release. In other words, an explanation quite different from the news that the Vita would be holiday ready in their press release, but one necessary to cover 505’s rear. No word from Sony on how accurate 505’s information was, but only time will tell.
In related news, there’s a company named after the worst of the Roland TR drum machines.
