Want to play Resistance 3 before anyone else? Members with  early access passes (said passes came with SOCOM 4) will be able to enter their codes into the PlayStation Store on August 2nd and join the Resistance multiplayer beta. The beta will be playable to all PlayStation Plus members August 23rd via the the PlayStation Store. This multiplayer open beta includes 2 of 5 modes, Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction, as well as two maps. Characters can be leveled up, bought new weapons and gear, and equipped with unlockable skins. The beta also has a level cap of 20, so players who want all the goods have to wait for the official release date in September.
