Star Wars Kinect Xbox Console

Attention die-hard Star Wars fans: Microsoft and Lucas Arts revealed the new Star Wars Kinect Xbox console at Comic-Con, so prepare to add the R2D2-color-themed console to the pile of Star Wars cups, toys, and other stuff with a Star Wars stamp on it. The console is in part a promotion for the Xbox Kinect technology and the upcoming Kinect Star Wars game, which features players waving the Kinect wand around as a lightsaber. While the prospect of a motion controlled lightsaber has potential, the footage of the game from Comic-Con is less than amazing looking.

Priced at $449.99, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars Bundle will include:

  • Kinect Star Wars game
  • Custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 Console with custom sounds
  • White Kinect Sensor
  • Custom C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
  • 320 GB Hard Drive
  • Xbox 360 Wired Headset
  • Kinect Adventures game
  • Exclusive downloadable content

I want it so badly….but can’t I just get the console and the controller? I don’t really care for the Kinect, Kinect Star Wars, and Kinect Adventures
