Are you left wanting more Family Guy, even after watching new episodes on Fox and re-runs on Adult Swim, TBS, and UPN? Well then get ready to play through your favorite fart jokes because Family Guy Online, a Family Guy-based Massively Multiplayer Online game, is on it’s way.

The game will feature two writers from the show itself, and while the actual main cast won’t be playable, there will be representations of each Griffin family member as a character archetype. For example, the Peter-style player will act as a tank, while the Stewie-style character will be more of a ranged weapons player. We’ll assume if you play as Meg that your power will be to be hated by everyone else.

The game will be completely browser based thanks to the Unity engine, so the goal will be to attract gamers as well as casual fans of the show to hop in and try it out with minimal effort. No word on what any of the quests or missions will be like, be one can assume most will call upon Family Guy classics, and pretty much all of them will involved beating a dead horse.
