Mass Effect Movie: Info At Comic-Con

by on July 7, 2011

Legendary Pictures, the movie studio responsible for the films 300, The Dark Knight, and unfortunately 10,000 BC, bought the rights to make the Mass Effect film in May of last year, but since then has remained silent on the progress of the film’s production. But have patience. Details will be revealed July 21st at San Diego Comic-Con, where BioWare executive producer Casey Hudson and the film’s screenwriter Mark Protosevich will both be at a special panel dedicated to the movie answering all your questions.

What Mass Effect game will the film be based on, or will it be its own story set in the Mass Effect universe? Hopefully Legendary will get this one right, and the Mass Effect film won’t become another Ender’s Game movie (lost in production hell, it’ll never get made) or Halo movie (too expensive to get made).
