I Am Alive is still breathing

We all thought the upcoming action game, developed by Ubisoft Shanghai, was dead. It seems though that it is pretty much alive and breathing, just quiet and avoiding the spotlight for the time being.

After a long time of silence, some details have emerged through the Australian Classification Board.

The game has been rated MA 15+ for ‘strong violence’. What makes this interesting is the fact the classification has been filed just yesterday, on June 28th, meaning the game is probably very well in development and should come out fairly soon, since the board had enough content to properly review and classify the title.

I Am Alive takes place in Chicago after a major earthquake devastates the city, while main protagonist Adam Collins has to find way how to survive a water crisis and evade various enemies that are after him.

There is no release date set, but my guess would be sometime around this fall. We will probably know more after GDC and Gamescom, which take place in Germany this August, so stay tuned!
