Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 Release Dates

Two of EA’s biggest games finally have concrete release dates.

During Electronic Art’s E3 press conference, the company announced official release dates for two of their most anticipated titles.  Battlefield 3 will be dropping onto the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 25th, 2011.  Many have speculated that EA is prepping their latest Battlefield as a serious contender for Activision’s Call of Duty franchise.  This announcement is EA’s declaration of war, as Battlefield 3 will be launching just two weeks before the behemoth known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hits store shelves.

Also during their press announcement, EA unveiled the official release date for Mass Effect 3.  The final act of Commander Shepard’s trilogy will unfold on March 6, 2012.  The game will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.

Stay tuned for more information about both upcoming games as E3 presses on!
