The new trailer of Heart of the Swarm has been posted up on Blizzard’s official site earlier today and it reveals what we can expect in the upcoming zerg campaign. Kerrigan is back and she’s still controlling the zerg with her human form but what does this mean? and how is she still controlling them?

The trailer shows a few new things added like two new baneling units that you can upgrade to: Splitterling and/or Gorgeling. Another thing that I’ve noticed was that Kerrigan is now back to using her sniper rifle and blizzard have also added an upgrade screen for her where you can upgrade her abilities.  It looks like you can choose from using her Spec-Ops skills or her zerg influenced Corruption which I’m guessing will enhance some of her psi-abilities.

Judging from the addition of upgrading her abilities, she’s going to be more involved in the zerg missions than Reynor was in Wings of Liberty.  Check out the new trailer below:

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm has no release date yet but an official date might be revealed at this year’s Blizzcon 2011.
