On the note of Arthur: This is, ideally, the Arthur that survived EVERY GAME IN THE SERIES! I wouldn’t wanna mess with him, would you?

BTW, sad news about Storm. I like her character, and it’s a shame to hear how she’s handled in the game.

I’d also like to note a problem with Dormammu: They didn’t include Dr. Strange. He wasn’t in the last game, and I really wanted to play with him this time around after having so much fun with him in Ultimate Alliance 1. Even if he was, I believe putting Domammu in would only result in a clone character, something that may work in Smash Bros. but would be absolutely unacceptable in a MvC game.

There are only 4 unlockable characters.
The other spots are for DLC characters.
The first 2 being Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath.

Your comment about Storm is kinda funny, since she was one of the most powerful MvC2 characters along with Sentinel, Cable, and Magneto >_> (all of whom were considered “god tier”). I can’t imagine she’s been dialed back all that much.

One of the neat things about the series is how it brings in more obscure characters. It’s great to see ass-kicking Mayor Mike Haggar make an appearance. Kinda disappointing that we don’t have Strider Hiryu right out of the box but he’ll probably be DLC.

I was also disappointed that strider and guile didn’t make the cut but I’m sure either one will come in a DLC package later on…..just maybe.

Bores, let’s go over your gripes with some of the characters:

1.Last time I checked, Storm was a pretty good character to play as, especially at tournaments.

2.X-23 is not a new character, because she was first created in 2003 for the X-Men Evolution cartoon.

3.She-Hulk is awesome, because she has been around for decades, had multiple solo title runs, been in both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, and is the most famous non-X-Men female that Marvel ever had. Not bad for The Incredible Hulk’s cousin.

4.There’s a reason why Capcom included Super-Skrull; they didn’t want to include every member of the Fantastic Four, so they used a character that had all their powers for roster balance.

5.Hsien-Ko’s name is actually pronounced “Shen-Koh”, not “Hai-Zen-Koh”, and she was the worst character to use in MvC3.

6.Taskmaster isn’t obscure, because he’s been around since 1980 and is one of Deadpool’s adversaries. Capcom included Taskmaster in this game because Deadpool is in it, and Taskmaster’s copying ability is perfect for a fighting game.

7.As for the characters you wanted in this game, Cyclops isn’t happening because players would just spam his Optic Blast over and over since he barely has any viable moveset to begin with; Ghost Rider made his way into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3; Invisible Woman and Human Torch aren’t happening for the reason I mentioned in relation to Super-Skrull; Apocalypse was in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter but he wasn’t a playable character; and Silver Surfer was dropped because Capcom didn’t know how to implement his board into the gameplay.
