December 13, 2010 (Rockville, MD) â€” Bethesda SoftworksÂ®, a ZeniMaxÂ® Media company, today confirmed the upcoming release of The Elder ScrollsÂ® V: Skyrimâ„¢, the next installment in the award-winning Elder Scrolls series and follow up to the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: OblivionÂ®.Â
Developed by Bethesda Game StudiosÂ® under the direction of Todd Howard, Skyrim will be released on Xbox 360Â®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStationÂ®3 computer entertainment system, and Games for WindowsÂ® worldwide on November 11, 2011.
