Apple hints on trying to buy Sony and EA

by on October 25, 2010

The US stock Market is filled with talk of rumors that Apple is going to target buying Sony and EA, two major companies in the gaming industry. Apple has

$51 billion to spend on this project and this is Steve Jobs is planning to do.

He stated that if one or more of these opportunities come along there going to take it because of their strong financial situation. Also they want to not go all out right now and spend all their money because they believe that there will be more opportunities in the future.

Kaufman Brothers tipped that EA, Netflix, and even Facebook as targets in future. But today the financial ties nodded to Adobe, Disney, and Sony. The thought of this sounds super crazy.

But with $51 billion to spend with no debt on them, they are definitely able to afford this. Especially since at the end of March 2010, Sony stated that they have lost $440 million, and in total they are worth $40 billion, which is comfortably in their price range. Something is going to happened soon. Just depends how soon this will happen.
