You Thought Flappy Bird Was Addictive? Check This!
The puzzle game is browser-based and its creator is a Hacker News user named terabytest. He actually just re-made the game with better animations as the original one looked pretty bad, not to mention that the original one is a spin-off to another similar game called “1024″ which you can get on itunes. So, as terabytest said, the “game is probably the last of a long chain of clones”.
Basically, you get a 4×4 square and your objective is to join the tile numbers (starting with 2) by sliding the tiles into one another in order to get to 2048. So if two “2″ tiles join each other, they create a “4″ tile, and so on. Be careful though as every time you make a move, a random “2″ tile appears on the board and it may get crowded. The game is fun and addictive, just like Flappy Bird was, but without the hair-pulling drama.
