Limbo developers silent on platforms for Limbo’s successor
Edge Online reported today that Limbo developers have refused to answer what platforms their upcoming game will be on.
Though it is known that the studio had been working on a second project even before Limbo was initially released, the studio’s co-founder, Dino Patti, still refused to answer any questions about the upcoming game.
Said Mr. Patti, “My lips are sealed!“ Mr. Patti does, however, state that, “ We delivered the release build a couple of months before launch, so we actually started working on it a few weeks before the launch of Limbo. It was an idea Arnt had been ‘cooking up’ for a while.”
Though he states, “There is obviously a bigger mobile focus now,” he goes on to add, “but I still have a firm belief that content is king no matter the business model or platform.”
When flat out asked about the platforms, Mr. Patti answered, “We have a really good relationship with both Microsoft and Sony, but nothing is decided yet. We actually don’t mind holding back this decision on the precise launch strategy until we have better view of the landscape.”
What will the game be like? Will it see a mobile release?
